About Me
Herbert Njabet is President of BnH Farms, a fully registered, family-governed agribusiness based in Bertoua, Cameroon’s East Region. He serves as the company’s principal public representative and provides strategic and operational leadership across the farm’s cocoa, oil-palm, livestock and partnership activities.
His role is to connect the family-backed foundation of the business with field execution, technical teams, local relationships and the requirements of future buyers and partners. He supports a management approach built around clear priorities, practical accountability and honest communication about the company’s current stage.
Under his leadership, cocoa has become the commercial flagship of BnH Farms. The company is improving its producing and maturing cocoa blocks, strengthening post-harvest practices and developing better mapping, traceability and buyer documentation. The oil-palm estate is presented according to its actual maturity, while livestock remains a developing secondary activity.
Herbert’s public leadership message is that long-term agricultural credibility must be earned through consistent field work, stronger records and partnerships based on realistic expectations.
President Message
BnH Farms is being built with a long-term view of agriculture in Cameroon’s East Region. Our ambition is important, but our credibility must come from what the farm can demonstrate today and the systems we are prepared to strengthen for tomorrow.
Cocoa is now the commercial centre of our direction. We manage approximately 160 hectares dedicated to cocoa, including producing blocks and a larger area that is still young, maturing or under rehabilitation. This means our responsibility is not simply to speak about future production. It is to improve the trees, the field work, the post-harvest process, the records and the relationships that will support that future.
We are also developing a significant oil-palm estate and maintaining livestock and pasture activities as part of a broader agricultural portfolio. Each operation must be presented according to its real stage. The oil-palm estate is still maturing. Our traceability systems are being strengthened. Our certification pathways and direct-export capability remain future objectives. We believe this transparency is a strength.
BnH Farms is family-governed, but it is also field-led. Our technical teams, unit leaders, seasonal workers, local vendors and service providers all contribute to the progress of the business. My role as President is to connect that work with clear priorities, accountable decisions and partnerships based on realistic expectations.
We welcome buyers and partners who value honest information, disciplined development and the opportunity to build something durable. We will continue to improve our cocoa estate, strengthen our documentation and prepare responsibly for deeper market access. Our goal is not to claim progress before it exists. Our goal is to create progress that can be seen, measured and trusted.
